Michael B. Smith joined the Grasso Law Firm in 2022 and has been in practice since 1991. He represents clients in cases involving general liability claims as well as professional liability, medical malpractice, and elder law matters.

Mr. Smith takes a hands-on approach to practicing law and has tried 24 jury trials as lead counsel for defendants in catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims in both state and federal courts. He obtained defense verdicts or dismissal during trial in the majority of those cases, while most of the others resulted in dismissal verdicts or settlements during trial that were significantly below the last pre-trial settlement offer.

Prior service in the military and working for the government provides significant experience that Mr. Smith calls upon when advising and representing his clients. He appreciates the intellectual challenge the law presents and enjoys being able to help his clients obtain the best outcome in difficult situations that have significant implications for their personal and professional lives.

Mr. Smith previously served as Board President for the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus and as a Board Member for the Tucson Regional Ballet.
