Pari K. Scroggin has over thirty years of experience and is a senior partner at the Grasso Law Firm. She has represented a wide range of clients in commercial, employment, municipal, professional liability, and civil rights matters. She has handled all aspects of litigation, including arbitrations, discovery, dispositive motions, trial preparations, jury trials, and appeals.
Ms. Scroggin has successfully tried numerous cases. For example, Ms. Scroggin tried a case with allegations of discrimination due to claimed disabilities. The plaintiff asked the jury to award $3,000,000 in damages. The jury, instead, returned a unanimous defense verdict -- after less than one hour of deliberation. This case was the third defense verdict received at trial by Ms. Scroggin in recent years.
Prior to joining the Grasso Law Firm, Ms. Scroggin served as a senior counsel at a large law firm with six offices throughout the United States. She has been admitted to the State Bar of Arizona, the United States District Court of Arizona, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as the Pennsylvania Bar and the Washington D.C. Bar. She is a member of the Arizona Bar Association, the Maricopa County Bar Association, the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel, and the Arizona Women Lawyers Association. Ms. Scroggin is a Board Member for the Arizona Chapter Claims and Litigation Management Alliance.
Ms. Scroggin is AV®-rated (the highest possible rating for legal ability and ethics) by Martindale-Hubbell, the oldest and most prestigious lawyer rating service in the United States.
Before entering the legal field, Ms. Scroggin worked as an underwriter for St. Paul Fire & Marine.
Ms. Scroggin is a Board Member for the Arizona Chapter Claims and Litigation Management Alliance, and holds an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest an attorney can receive for legal skills and ethics.
Aside from her legal practice, Ms. Scroggin enjoys spending time and traveling with her husband and two children. Ms. Scroggin is also very active with a number of local charities.
